Samantha, Amelia, and Nathan-The variety of adult education examples you provide demonstrate the broad scope of the field. As you say, AE wears many hats. This is perhaps my biggest takeaway from this course!
ReplyDeleteNathan, which program did you use to create the Survival Guide video? I like the blended use of your narration, text, background music, and video graphics. Your survival tips are similar to our group's. I believe they will be helpful to future students in this course. Nice work.
I used Adobe Premiere Pro to make the video and used license free stock footage from pixabay.com in the background. I used bensound.com for the license free background music.
DeleteGroup 4: thanks for your well-done video and thoughtful tips for your survival guide. There were several similarities between your tips and others in the course. I couldn't agree more with the tip of creating your own calendar for deadlines or adding them to your calendar. I did that and found it to be very helpful, as there were times that my work schedule got very busy and I might have missed a few comment deadlines without my calendar reminders. I also found your LinkedIn slideshow to be well done, and communicated the content of this course in an easy to understand manner.

Group 4 - I really thought your presentation summarized much of the course in an easy to follow way. I liked the "through the decades" section that summarize the papers that have been created over the years, though this course. Very convenient that the charts link to the papers they referenced. Good work by your group on this project.
ReplyDeleteGroup 4 - I really like the way you used your decades papers as a comparison and timeline. Our group didn't incorporate our papers as much as other groups did. On the survival guide, the comments about studying things you like/your passion is spot on. Because Dr. Chang gives us so much material and freedom to chose in discussions, focusing on what you like makes the course more engaging and builds community with your classmates.
ReplyDeleteGreat Work!
